With Kyoo’s Pre-Auth POS, staff can easily start, add, close, and manage open tabs without holding onto a physical card. No complex setup necessary – the Kyoo Pre-Auth app syncs with your existing Square account and builds your menu automatically, integrating seamlessly with Squares Card Reader for Contactless and Chip.
How it works:
1. Now, both staff and customers can easily open a new tab by dipping a credit card or scanning a QR (note: card will be pre-authorized for a pre-specified customizable amount).
2. After starting a tab, customers can continue adding to their tab from their personal device or staff can easily add new rounds.
3. Finally, when the customer is ready to close out, either staff or customer can close the tab to capture the payment with the option to include a tip (note: unclosed tabs will close automatically after a customizable length of time).
